Western Hegemony and Russia’s Eurasian Turn

According to some perspectives, it is difficult imagine the collective West developing further relations with Russia beyond regulatory and systemic – rather than social so long as their political systems remain divergent. At same time, continued elements of Russian “Europeanness” raise fundamental questions about future role pre-eminence liberal states including Canada in contemporary international order, seeing Western-led order appears have failed become synonymous global itself. As such, remains a good case study for probing extent which world must root itself monist frame today's pluralistic world. This paper will seek explore this question from perspective rooted English School relations, aim deriving conclusions regarding order's ability maintain its hegemonic position society.
